An early sustainable-travel project built with a student team. It explored how planning tools could make the environmental cost of a trip more visible without making the process feel punitive.
What it was for
EcoTripPlanner was an attempt to make sustainable options easier to compare while planning travel. The interesting part was not building a grand platform; it was learning how product framing changes whether people can act on information at all.
What stayed useful
It was an early lesson in working with constraints, collaborating around an incomplete idea and treating an interface as a way to clarify a decision—not simply add features.
